"British rocker Pete Doherty is desperately trying to reunite his band Babyshambles after they announced they would tour without him.
Bassist Drew MCConnell and guitarist Mik Whitnall announced earlier this month (Jan12) they were lining up a string of gigs without their controversial frontman, who has relocated to Paris, France to pursue an acting career.
But following the reports, Doherty made two panic phone calls to MCConnell to invite his fellow rockers to his new home to discuss their next project.
MCConnell tells Nme magazine, "Peter's called me twice since the last time I spoke to Nme. His exact words were, 'Let's get the band back together.' And that's sweet, it's nice. good news ! Dont think they would realy tour without him now if this is true so with a bit of luck there could be a real babyshambles tour soon !

41:51 onwards Mick Whitnall plays guitar with Billy Bones followed by a short interview. Asked about the future of Babyshambles he says they've started working on the new album, although he admits they've been trying to do this for the last two years. He reckons something should materialise by the middle of the year

Okay, won´t have internet access for a week or so. Wanted to ask if someone could quickly give some info about Drew and Mik´s acoustic gig. Surely anyone on here must have been there, right?
Or just post any links to vids, reviews etc., didn´t have time to search for anything...
